Every Bacati piece is 100% cotton, designed to soften with every wash and stay beautiful for years. Follow these simple care steps to keep your nursery looking like new.

Wash Cold, Gentle Cycle

Machine wash in cold water on the gentle cycle with like colors. Use a mild, fragrance-free detergent — skip the bleach and fabric softener.

Tumble Dry Low

Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry. Remove promptly to minimize wrinkles. Line drying preserves color and softness longest.

Iron Low if Needed

Iron on low heat from the reverse side if desired. 100% cotton softens with every wash — a little wrinkling is part of its character.

Spot Clean Decor

Decorative pillows, mobiles, toy chests, and storage pieces should be spot cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not submerge.

Care Tips From Our Team

Wash new bedding before first use to remove any residual loom dust.
Expect up to 3% shrinkage on first wash — completely normal for natural cotton.
Store cotton in a breathable cotton bag, not plastic, to prevent yellowing.
Rotate two crib sheet sets to extend the life of each.
Avoid drying with synthetic fabrics — natural cotton dries faster on its own.
Light pilling on plush blankets after first few washes is normal and will subside.
